Releases & Updates
We continuously develop our software further. There are three main releases per year. They contain new functions and bug fixes and are delivered in a four-month cycle.
To be on the safe side, the database should be backed up before installing the update. When the software is updated, the database structure is also adjusted if necessary. In the case of a central SQL server or Oracle database, this is adjusted by the user who is the first to carry out the update. After updating the database, all users must install the new frontend, otherwise the database version no longer matches the release of the software. To prevent unauthorized users from changing the database structure, you must connect to the database by entering a user and password before the update.
Only customers who have concluded a maintenance contract receive releases. They are sent by mail to the listed contact person. This mail contains a link for download. So please make sure that our mail does not end up in your spam folder. In the future there will also be a login area for customers. Here you will have the possibility to download the new release on your own.
Licencing & Pricing
No, the software only needs to be installed once. One installation enables access to all SAP connectors.
Full versions and time-limited licenses can be purchased. A license is valid for a three-tier system landscape, which typically consists of a development, a test and a production system. The use of the software is limited to the licensed named users. For questions regarding licensing, please contact info@bluetelligence.de or fill out the trial version form.
Prices depend on the number of users and the licensed products of the Performer Suite. We offer licenses for as few as two users so that smaller teams can also benefit from our solutions. There are also corporations that have licensed more than 100 users. Arrange a meeting with us to discuss your requirements and needs. Only then will you receive an offer that is genuinely tailored to you. Simply fill out the test form or contact us by phone or mail. We look forward to your inquiry!
Trial Versions
After you have filled out the form for the trial version, we will contact you and ask for some parameters. Necessary connection parameters for BW: SID, client, system number, application server, BW release and, if necessary, a logon group and a router string. When using Single Sign-On, the SNC name of the system is also required. Necessary connection parameters for BO: Cluster name of the system. You can find this in the SAP Central Management Console (CMC) in the “Settings” area.
A trial license is valid for 60 days, although the period may vary slightly depending on the product. During this time you have unlimited access to the full range of functions. If there is not enough time for testing, you have the possibility to extend the duration.
No worries, we got you. Before you test, we recommend you make an appointment – as an individual web session or at your site. We will also provide you with a test manual so that you can get to know the essential functions and don’t waste any time.
Installations & Connections
You can download the system requirements here.
The software can be installed both locally on clients and centrally, for example in a virtual Citrix environment or on a terminal server. In the case of a central installation, the software is accessed by the users via the central environment. In the application itself there is no difference to a local installation.
The installation of the software is quick and easy, as no administrator rights are required and no entries are made in the Windows registry. Here´s what you have to consider:
- The user should have unlimited access to the target directory.
- The software should not be installed in the standard “Programs” directory.
